Rémy Martin

Cognac's Finest Pleasures

Rémy Martin founded his Maison de Cognac in 1724, thereby fulfilling his life's dream of using the finest grapes from the Grande and Petite Champagne to produce perfectly aged cognac.

Today the company owns 150 hectares of its own vineyards within the region. Since 1942 it has exclusively produced Fine Champagne Cognac. This must consist of at least 50% of grapes from Grande Champagne. Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Folle Blanche varieties are also permitted in the other 50%. To capture their aromatic heart as authentically as possible, distillation is performed in small copper stills. The Maître du Chai blends only the finest eaux-de-vie into little masterpieces. Maturation takes place in selected barrels of Limousin oak. The result is the most exquisite of cognac pleasures, with Rémy Martin's characteristic fruit intensity, softness and complexity.
